I’m very passionate about content, because I’m passionate about people. Content is just another means to solve problems and elevate people to greater heights. This is what I want my website / blog, and social networks to do for people like you and me. I don’t have all the answers, but I would like to share everything I have and will learn in this quest.

I am a Content Crusader.
I believe that content matters.
Not because it’s marketable, but because content
is just another word for relationships.
Content’s goal is to inform, entertain, and sometimes,
Those who search for it, who need it right now
For whatever reason they might have.
I shall use compelling content to demonstrate I care for them
I shall earn the privilege to forge relationships
with my audience.
Content equals People.
I am not content to just be a Content Maker.
I refuse to feed the contentment
of the Content Machine.
I have unmoored myself from its mechanical production
And shifted my focus to purpose and passion.
To benefit from content that matters to my business
I must create content that matters to my audience.
Because the inconvenient truth is that
My audience does not care for me
Neither do they have the time to spare
And therefore I must sell less, to gain more
Educate, not pitch
Help, not hype
Give them more of what they want
Talk to them human
Only then can my audience – and myself — rise above
the tide of content mediocrity,
filter noise from signal,
glitter from gold
I want my audience to feel empowered
with knowledge I have culled meticulously,
lovingly, and with a curiosity
that can only come from a deep understanding
of what they desire.
I want my audience to rely on me
for information they need in their quest
To know more, feel better, be better
So that I may earn the permission
To tell them why I can best provide
the solutions they seek.
And I shall tell them this in a way
that invites interactions,
creates gentle provocations, and
leaves lasting impressions.
In my own small way, I shall transmute
information into wisdom.
